Mark Ranzenberger waived a hearing to determine whether he should stand trial on child rape charges. The case now goes either to trial or plea agreement negotiations. Ranzenberger has been charged with repeatedly raping a girl younger than 13 between 1999 and 2003. He faces sentencing on January 5th after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.
