Former CMU professor Mark Ranzenberger admitted to a federal magistrate that he repeatedly sexually abused a child. The admission comes on the heels of his admission to possession of child pornography. As part of a plea deal, Ranzenberger won’t face charges for the rape of a girl under the age of 12 up to three times a week for seven years. The plea deal calls for an 11 to 14 year federal prison sentence.
