Residents of Gratiot and Isabella Counties rejoice, we have the cheapest gas prices in the state. As of Wednesday, stations in Isabella County showed an average of $2.10 per gallon. Gratiot County stations showed an average of $2.07 per gallon. Statewide, gas currently averages $2.32 per gallon. According to GasBuddy, an aggressive retailer in the area chose to undercut the competition, forcing them into a price match.
