Thieves stole catalytic converters from two vehicles parked in the Isabella County car pool lots on East Pickard and U.S. 127 sometime between 6:00AM Monday and 1:00PM Wednesday. One of the victims reported the theft on Wednesday. The same day, another catalytic converter was stolen from a car at the park-and-ride east of Shepherd. Officials said similar daytime thefts occurred about a year ago at other U.S. 127 park and rides.
