Central Michigan University released it’s 2017-18 fiscal year budget on Tuesday. The budget leaves the university with a $6 million deficit, on top of the $14 million deficit the university faced this year. To deal with the deficit, CMU announced it will put some improvement projects on hold, cut programs, and layoff some employees. Layoff notices will begin in May.
