Remus-based countertop manufacturer U.S. Marble announced that they’ve been sold to Birmingham-based firm Clio Holdings. U.S. Marble was founded by John Bishop in 1967. Clio Holdings officials say that changes in day-to-day operations aren’t anticipated. John Bishop and his wife Sharon will continue in advisory roles for one to two years.
