Mark Ranzenberger will spend between 14 and 45 years in prison for repeatedly raping a child under the age of 12. Judge Mark Duthie delivered the sentence on Thursday, calling it one of the worst criminal sexual conduct cases he’s ever seen. Ranzenberger will serve the sentence congruent with his 14-year federal sentence for possession of child pornography. After 14 years, he will face a parole board to determine whether he should serve more time.
