Changes are being implemented at Mt Pleasants water filtration plant after an error Sept 1st resulted in a (4) day boil water advisory. Jason Moore, Mt Pleasant’s Director of Public Works says the Deerfield well was supposed to be turned off the previous night but it continued to run causing the higher water level the next morning, that caused a turbidity level of 1.99, which was considered to be excessive.
