Just like the Oscars, the 2021 BAFTA Awards have been postponed.
The British Academy Film Awards announced yesterday that its upcoming awards ceremony will be held on April 11, 2021. The BAFTAs traditionally takes place two weeks before the Oscars.
When the Academy announced earlier in the day, as we told you earlier, that it’s ceremony had been pushed from February 28 to April 25, it prompted a rescheduling from BAFTA.
The good news is movie studios were told they will have a longer release window for their films to be eligible for nomination.
