Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! At least that’s what Josh Gad did on his YouTube show “Reunited Apart” when he had the cast of “Ghostbusters” reunite.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts were all in attendance, with just Rick Moranis missing, who we know shies away from the public. Director Ivan Reitman was also in attendance with his son Jason Reitman, who is directing the upcoming sequel, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
The reunion did not stop there though. Surprise guests kept showing up:
- William Atherton (who played Walter Peck)
- Steven Tash and Jennifer Runyon who were the students Murray’s Peter Venkmen shocks in the second Ghostbusters scene
- Michael Ensign who played the Sedgewick Hotel manager
- Timothy Carhart who played the violinist “boyfriend” of Weaver’s Dana Barrett
Last but not least, there was an appearance by Ray Parker Jr. who became famous for creating the iconic “Ghostbusters” theme. The reunion closed out by him performing the song, with the entire crew screaming along to the “Ghostbusters!” chant.
