Isra Hamdi, a Mt Pleasant High School senior became part of an elite group at the school, being accepted to Harvard University. She received her acceptance letter on March 30th, along with letters from other Ivy League schools like Cornell, Princeton and Columbia. She plans to study medicine in hopes of becoming a neurological or cardiothoracic surgeon.
