Kaya Coffee House plans to share space with The Malt Shop by April 1st. The popular coffee shop near the Central Michigan University campus will be in the “Alumni Room,” according to a press release from The Malt Shop. Kaya was the subject of a bitter dispute over zoning in February that was ultimately decided on by a city commission vote. It’s unclear at this time what the future of Kaya’s current home holds.
