Two men were arrested at the Mackie Rest Area in Grant Township this week on charges of a drug deal. Police received a tip of a cocaine deal between 23-year-old Jamarious Flowers of Muskegon and 22-year-old Jacob Pruitt of Harrison. A traffic stop led to the arrest. Deputies also arrested 51-year-old Derickio Gates of Muskegon for an outstanding warrant on unrelated charges.
