A Clare firefighter suffered injuries Tuesday morning after falling through the attic ceiling of a roofing business in Grant Township. Assistant Fire Chief Sam Eberhart remains at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, undergoing treatment for a fractured hip and pelvis. Eberhart was removing smoldering insulation in the attic at Husky Metal Roofs when he fell about 14 feet, landing on the concrete floor.
