Mt Pleasant fourth grade teacher Jeremy Ruble has been placed on paid leave pending his child abuse case. The 37-year-old faces charges of second and fourth degree child abuse in Oceana County after witnesses say he held his 5-year-old adopted son’s head under water. A preliminary conference related to the criminal charges originally scheduled for August 1st was moved to August 15th.
