The Detroit Tigers fell 3-1 to the New York Mets on Sunday in the final game of their three-game series at Comerica Park. Anibal Sanchez had an incredible start for Detroit, striking out 10 and allowing just one run in eight innings pitched. However, closer Francisco Rodriguez surrendered two runs in relief, and the Tigers offense couldn’t support Sanchez. Ian Kinsler had the lone RBI for Detroit.
