The case against 32-year-old Midland County man Matthew Scroggins has been bound over to Midland circuit court. Scroggins faces five counts of criminal sexual conduct, charges of child sexually abusive activity, and using a computer to commit a crime. A person from his place of employment reported that she was shown Facebook communication between Scroggins and another employee referencing his involvement in illegal sexual activity with underage girls.
