A Detroit-area man will appear in court on November 3rd to determine if he should stand trial for a hit-and-run accident that injured a Gilmore Township woman earlier this month. 24-year-old Alex Grant faces one count of failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in serious impairment or death. He could spend five years in prison. Kailyn Brugger of Farwell continues to recover after being hit while walking on the shoulder of West Coleman Road on October 8th.
