Mt Pleasant Doesn’t Need Mosquito Control Program

Chuck Mullins, the general manager of APM Mosquito Control, says Mt Pleasant doesn’t need a community-wide mosquito control program at this time. Mullins presented his findings after a summer-long study to the Mt Pleasant city commission on Monday. He recommended city officials take steps on their own to deal with mosquitoes next summer, instead of a citywide spraying program. The City Commission approved a plan last year to spray in the summer of 2016.
