A Kent County judge allowed a lawsuit that asks the court to enforce Kristina Karamo’s removal as the MRP chairwoman, to proceed, rejecting her attempts to dismiss it. Her lawyer, Donald Campbell, argued the matter was an “intra-party political dispute” that the court shouldn’t get involved. Karamo refused to step aside, continued to hold meetings & spend the parties money. A court ruling could require her to depart.
