Stephan Wilson, winner of My 1043’s 2018 Hometown Showdown, won another great reward at CMU’s graduation ceremonies over the weekend. Wilson’s mother, Sharonda Wilson, who was also to enjoy commencement ceremonies of her own at Ferris, but missed them to be at her son’s. When CMU president Robert Davies heard about this, he contacted FSU President David Eisler. Davies was able to confer Sharonda’s degree at Stephan’s ceremony and both celebrated together.
