A woman who found out she was wanted for contempt of court took off running from officers in Mt. Pleasant early Tuesday morning. After police tried to arrest her at Mission and Michigan, she took off running on a small foot chase and was finally found with a glass smoking pipe and 1.3 grams of meth. She was arrested and taken to the Isabella County Jail for the drugs and for resisting arrest.
