This Year’s Flu Vaccine “Better than Some Predicted,” Says the CDC

As flu season continues, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that this year’s flu vaccine has been 36 percent effective. The CDC and Food and Drug Administration both report that this level of effectiveness “is better than some might have predicted.”
