A deadly boating accident in Clare County over the weekend, is now under investigation.
According to witnesses, the boat was pulling a tube where a woman was thrown from it and into another boat on Sand Lake, on Sunday.
9and10 News reports the boat pulling the tube made a sharp turn and threw the woman riding on it into the side of another boat docked nearby. The boat then crashed into another docked boat.
A teenager on the same tube was uninjured in the crash.
The Department of Natural Resources told 9&10 the agency is working to piece together what happened in the crash, which is still under investigation.
It’s unclear if any other police or rescue agencies responded.
