The Great Lakes Loons captured their third straight victory, defeating the Clinton LumberKings 7-3 Thursday night in Iowa. Lefty Devin Smeltzer pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks for the Loons. Gavin Lux picked up four hits in the win for the Loons.
