The Ithaca City Council appointed Brett Baublitz on Wednesday. Baublitz fills the seat vacated by Trevor Paradise, who resigned on May 2nd. City clerk Barbara Fandell said Baublitz, a lifelong Ithaca resident, was the lone person to submit a letter of interest.
