Ithaca City Council member Trevor Paradise resigned, effective this past Tuesday. In his resignation letter to mayor Tim Palmer, Paradise said he can’t fulfill the requirements of the job at this time, and it’s best for all parties that he step down. The council must now make an appointment to fill the seat within the next 30 days.
