Tyler Collins hit a 3-run home run, helping to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 7-1 victory over Cleveland Monday night at Comerica Park. Starter Daniel Norris was strong, allowing only one run in six innings while striking out eight against one of the best offenses in the league.

The Tigers received more good news on Monday as well. Miguel Cabrera will come off the disabled list and start tonight against Cleveland. Cabrera suffered a strained groin on April 21st in Minnesota, forcing him to miss 10 days. John Hicks will likely be optioned back to Toledo to make room for Cabrera. It won’t be for lack of effort, however, as Hicks is 11-for-26 in a little over a week with the Tigers.
