The Isabella County Road Commission spoke with Union Township trustees last week about adding new traffic signals at intersections along Isabella Road. The township approved work on the intersections at Bluegrass, Broomfield and Remus Roads. Upgrades haven’t been finalized, but improvements could include widening left turn lanes, or re-optimizing traffic signals to improve traffic flow. The project will cost about $800,000.
