Mt Pleasant Reaffirms Human Rights Ordinance

The Mt Pleasant City Commission unanimously reaffirmed the city’s human rights ordinance on Monday evening. 15 letters of support for the reaffirmation were sent to commissioners prior to the hearing. The ordinance, passed in 2012, prohibits discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations.
