A new Mt Pleasant Holiday Inn is expected to open between January and April of 2018. The hotel, currently under construction on M-20 next to Art Van, would bring more than 40 jobs to the area. Plans consist of 130 rooms, 20 of those being suites, a pool, fitness room, and a restaurant and bar that has yet to be named.
