The Central Michigan Chippewas padded their Mid-American Conference lead with an 8-2 victory over Bowling Green Sunday in Ohio. Daniel Jipping hit two home runs in the game for a total of seven RBI. Sophomore Pat Leatherman pitched seven shutout innings, allowing four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts for the win.
