Grants from the Access to Recreation Fund and Tri County Electric Cooperative are expanding accessibility at Isabella County Parks this summer. Parks and Recreation director Sue Ann Kopmeyer said they plan to purchase ADA accessible beach chairs that can be used in the sand and water at Coldwater Family Park, Herrick Park and Deerfield Park. Parks can be accessed year round, but Coldwater and Herrick officially open for camping on May 1st.
