The Central Michigan Chippewas managed only one hit, but strong pitching kept them alive until the end of a 2-0 loss to 19th ranked Michigan Tuesday at Margo Jonker Stadium. Rachael Knapp finished a complete game, allowing five hits with two strikeouts and a walk, but still took the loss for the Chippewas. Allison Curtis had CMU’s only hit.
