The Mt Pleasant Police Department has a new Captain. Andy Latham fills the vacancy created when former Captain Paul Lauria became the director of public safety for the city. Latham began his career with the city as a police officer more than 20 years ago, serving as a sergeant and a lieutenant in that time.
