Despite Wednesday’s scary airplane skid, the Michigan Wolverines dominated Illinois 75-55 Thursday in the Big Ten Tournament opener from Washington D.C. The Wolverines wore their practice jerseys throughout the game since their normal team jerseys remained on the damaged airplane. Zak Irvin finished with 18 points to lead Michigan in the win. Michigan advances to play Purdue Friday.
