Parole Violator Arrested During Hot Tub Death Investigation

The investigation into the death of 26-year-old Mabann Teller at the Mt Pleasant Baymont Inn led to the arrest of a man who violated parole. 25-year-old Byron Francis was paroled two weeks ago after serving a four-to-10-year sentenced for assault. Francis was believed to be Teller’s boyfriend, and was with her earlier in the night. Francis was also the father of Carnel Chamberlain, who was murdered by his mother’s boyfriend at 4-years-old in June of 2012.
