Roland Jackson was officially charged Friday in Isabella County Trial Court after a high speed chase with police’ reaching speeds over 100 mph just after midnight Thursday. According to police an officer attempted to stop the man, near Bellows and Mission when he fled north continuing on US-127, he was finally stopped by Clare police officers who deployed spike strips to stop Jackson. Public information officer Jeff Browne said the man had no prior convictions and no apparent reason to flee. Check out the Morning Sun article here.
