The League of Women Voters hosted an Isabella County Clerk forum Thursday night at Mt Pleasant City Hall. About 50 people attended to watch Democratic candidate Chelsea Plevinski and Republican incumbent Mindie Lux speak on issues. Plevinski said voter education and participation is one of her biggest focuses. She focused on outreach for community members and CMU students. Lux focused on her current term as clerk, and cited the fact that she’s led a nonpartisan office.
