A camper trailer caught fire early Saturday morning in lot 63 near Central Michigan University’s Kelly/Shorts Stadium. A CMU security guard saw fire around the generator area and knocked on the door to wake two sleeping people inside. Both escaped, but the trailer and vehicle were total losses. CMU Police and Mt Pleasant Fire Department continue to investigate the incident.
