Mike Pelfrey struggled in his return to the Detroit Tigers rotation, and the Tigers fell 5-1 to the last-place Minnesota Twins on Thursday. Pelfrey lasted only 1 2/3 innings, surrendering four of the Twins five runs in the second inning. The Tigers fall 1 1/2 games behind the final American League wild card spot with the loss.
