Former Central Michigan University professor Mark Ranzenberger will stand trial on September 27th for possession of child pornography. Ranzenberger had until September 6th to change his guilty plea from June, and he did not. The U.S. Code states that a conviction for possession of child pornography can carry a sentence between five and 20 years.
