The United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties funded more than $251,000 in community investment grant requests for the 2016-17 fiscal year. In all, the United Way considered 39 applications from 23 local nonprofit organizations. Allocations are based on fundraising totals from each county’s most recent community campaign.
