In his second major league appearance, JaCoby Jones played hero once again, and for the third straight day, the Detroit Tigers came from behind to beat the Chicago White Sox, this time by a final of 3-2. Jones led off the ninth with a double to the wall in right-center field, and then scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Collins. Justin Verlander allowed only three hits and struck out nine in seven innings for Detroit. Unfortunately, two of those three hits were home runs.
