An MRI on the left thumb of Tigers outfielder Cameron Maybin revealed no serious issues. Maybin spent time on the DL this summer for an injury to the thumb, and re-injured it last week. Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said Maybin likely won’t play on Wednesday, but could return Friday when the Tigers open a series at Kansas City against the Royals.
