Injuries in the starting lineup didn’t hurt the Detroit Tigers Wednesday as the Tigers defeated the Minnesota Twins 9-4 in Minneapolis. Miguel Cabrera led the Tigers with four hits on the night. Seven Tigers scored. Starter Matt Boyd allowed three runs in six innings pitched, but tied a career high with seven strikeouts.
