Mt Pleasant city commissioners approved a new PILOT agreement for Chase Run Apartments. MHT Housing, which owns and operates Chase Run requested the Payment in Lieu of Taxes agreement. The housing group plans to use a loan from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority to conduct repairs on the complex, but previously said they would not conduct repairs unless the city granted the PILOT.
