The city of Mt Pleasant plans to consider a payment in lieu of taxes for Chase Run apartment. It’s the first time a PILOT has been considered by the board since 2005 when voters defeated a similar request from Rivers Bluff. The complex owners say they can’t get a $5 million loan from the state to fund major repairs without a PILOT approval.
