Isabella County Child Protective Services filed a protective petition on Jeremy and Jen Ruble following last week’s child abuse incident in Oceana County. Pre-trial hearings for the couple’s three adopted children, ages 1, 5 and 6, are set for August. Child Protective Services had originally assisted the family after Jen Ruble reported the 5-year-old tried to attack the youngest child in May.
