The Detroit Tigers got some good news on Tuesday at least, as Miguel Cabrera was named to the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 12th in San Diego. Cabrera was the lone Tiger selected for the summer classic, the first time since 2008 that only one Tiger was chosen. Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler was named a finalist for the AL’s Final Vote, which will be voted on by fans.
